A beautiful face on spiral galaxy.  I have not done it justice yet.  There are many different steller formations in the spiral bands to visualize in a good image of this object.

Not a very good image of this galaxy.  It really is a stunning galaxy with a good image.  Located near the bowl of the Big Dipper.  It has a companion galaxy M82 or the "cigar" galaxy that is equally as stunning.
Notice the ice crystals surrounding this galaxy.  The crystals formed on the camera lense.  It looks like I framed the galaxy between the crystals but I did not.  It would be hard to do with the type of camera I use.
One of the most photographed galaxies.  You can see why and why it has the nickname "Pinwheel" galaxy.

My first exposure longer than 30 seconds using the SBIG camera.  This image is a 180 second exposure.
